Black and red currants, strawberry and raspberry. Roast aromas of coffee, plums and herbs; complex and deep wine. A cellar worthy value from a great vintage!

The Californian

  • Terre Rouge Syrah 2018, Sierra Foothills - Deep color with rich, silky, raspberry fruit flavors. Pepper, sage, olive, and tar tone; acid balance, very smooth and savory in the mouth. Purity of a Syrah from St. Joseph!

  • Ψ Psi Tinto Fino 2022, Ribera del Duero, Spain - A Peter Sisseck cooperative project. Blended with up to 10% of Grenache and small quantities of other varieties. Clean, expressive and open. Polished texture and fine tannins. Pingus lineage for a fraction of the price!
  • Bernabeleva Navaherreros Grenache 2022, Madrid, Spain - From the foothills of the Sierra de Gredos range. Wild sweet berry fruit dominate the nose. Hints of spice, herb, graphite and salinity; silky smooth, fresh and fine tannins. OG from the Viños de Madrid appellation!
  • Le Petit Oursan Blanc Clariette NV, Rhone, France -Made from 30-year-old vines planted in clay-limestone, this release blends equal parts 2023 and 2022, and is raised entirely in enameled tank. Clean, gently floral, and taut but mouthfilling, it shows subtle notes of fresh almonds and fennel.

  • Senorio de P. Pecina Cosecha Tempranillo 2022, Rioja, Spain - Bright garnet red, with deep color and clarity which gives it a bright sheen in the glass. Plums, blackberries, black fruits. Balsamic notes and good acidity. A lot of wine for the price!
  • Cep Rosé of Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley - Vibrant and bright with crisp acids. Aromas of green strawberries, cranberries and rose petals with a hint of salinity. Lively Pinot rosé with a light touch!
  • Chateau de Cugat Bordeaux Superieur 2018, Bordeaux, France - A delicious blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged primarily in tanks with a few barrel-lots thrown into the blend, this is a well balanced claret that is perfect for classic bistro fare. Overdelivers for its price!
